-
Is it possible to try on a skirt before purchasing?Yes, you are more than welcome to come to our Williamstown workshop were we have all of our sample skirts. Please ring ahead so we can have them here for you to try on.
-
How much fabric is needed for a skirt mould? It varies from mould to mould. On average around 2 - 3 meters for one panel (1 x half-cirle piece). So for a full circle skirt, approx. 4 - 6 meters.
-
Can you make a custom-made skirt from fabric that I already have?Yes we can. As long as the fabric is suitable for pleating. The more lightweight the better, and synthetic fabrics hold pleating the best. Natural fibres (Silks and Cottons etc.) will pleat, but it is harder to maintain and care for.
-
How do I care for / wash my pleated garment?Cool, gentle hand wash, and NO steam. Hang to dry in the shade. Steam is dangerous for pleats, so any water and heat will make the pleats fall out, especially for delicate silk garments.
